What to pay attention to when choosing coffee

How to choose a coffee variety?

When getting acquainted with our beans and the world of specialty coffee in general, we recommend starting with the basic Culture line, as well as the Passion line. Coffee from these categories is accessible, with a fairly simple and understandable taste.

If you are an avid coffee enthusiast or want to try something new, feel free to try Impressoin and Boutique lots.

Pay attention to the taste descriptions of the lots. And if you need help choosing, [link:write to us], and we will help.

How to choose the roast level?

We offer medium and light roast coffee.

Choose espresso roast if you brew coffee in an espresso machine. For all other brewing methods, filter roast is the ideal option, as it is slightly lighter.

To grind coffee or not?

The most ideal option is to grind a portion of coffee immediately before brewing. This way the coffee will be maximally tasty and aromatic, and will also last longer.

If this is not possible, we can grind the coffee for free upon your request. Select the desired grind level when adding the product to the cart.

A hand coffee grinder will soon be available in our store in the [link:Accessories] section.

How best to store coffee?

It is best to store coffee in our branded packaging, which has a zip-lock and is equipped with a special degassing valve, so it is airtight and does not let air inside. This way the beans will retain their flavor and aroma properties longer.

It is important to ensure that the beans are not exposed to temperature fluctuations and high humidity. For storage, choose a dry and dark place, such as a kitchen cabinet.

COLOMBIA ROSA BRAVA

COLOMBIA ROSA BRAVA

22 €

Lot: Rosa Brava Country of Origin: Colombia Region: Risaralda Producer: Cristian Franco, La Maria Variety: Papayo Processing Method: Washed, infused This lot was produced using a co-fermentation technique. During processing, various tropical fruits—including pineapple, orange, passion fruit, and others—are added to the fermentation tanks along with rose essence. The coffee is kept in this fermentation substrate for 1–2 days in sealed barrels. Yeast cultures are then introduced, and the process continues for several more days. Finally, the coffee is washed and mechanically dried at low temperatures. An unusual and memorable infused coffee. The cup evokes rose petal jam, with a sweet, balanced, and highly drinkable profile. Alongside its prominent floral character, the coffee reveals layers of fruit, honey-like sweetness, and subtle notes of vanilla. Papayo is a relatively rare Arabica variety grown in Colombia. It takes its name from the shape of its cherries, which resemble the papaya fruit. Much like its tropical namesake, Papayo is known for its vibrant and complex flavor profile, featuring pronounced fruit-forward and tropical characteristics.
