What to pay attention to when choosing coffee

How to choose a coffee variety?

When getting acquainted with our beans and the world of specialty coffee in general, we recommend starting with the basic Culture line, as well as the Passion line. Coffee from these categories is accessible, with a fairly simple and understandable taste.

If you are an avid coffee enthusiast or want to try something new, feel free to try Impressoin and Boutique lots.

Pay attention to the taste descriptions of the lots. And if you need help choosing, [link:write to us], and we will help.

How to choose the roast level?

We offer medium and light roast coffee.

Choose espresso roast if you brew coffee in an espresso machine. For all other brewing methods, filter roast is the ideal option, as it is slightly lighter.

To grind coffee or not?

The most ideal option is to grind a portion of coffee immediately before brewing. This way the coffee will be maximally tasty and aromatic, and will also last longer.

If this is not possible, we can grind the coffee for free upon your request. Select the desired grind level when adding the product to the cart.

A hand coffee grinder will soon be available in our store in the [link:Accessories] section.

How best to store coffee?

It is best to store coffee in our branded packaging, which has a zip-lock and is equipped with a special degassing valve, so it is airtight and does not let air inside. This way the beans will retain their flavor and aroma properties longer.

It is important to ensure that the beans are not exposed to temperature fluctuations and high humidity. For storage, choose a dry and dark place, such as a kitchen cabinet.

COLOMBIA JUICY PASSION FRUIT

COLOMBIA JUICY PASSION FRUIT

22 €

Lot: Juicy Passion Fruit Country of Origin: Colombia Region: Huila Producer: Brayan Alvear, Las Palmas Variety: Castillo, Caturra & Colombia Processing Method: Washed 24 hours full cherry fermentation in plastic bags, depulping, 5 days fermetation with dry passion fruits in barrels, 10 days mechanical drying. This infused coffee is a celebration of passion fruit, mango, peach blending its bold flavor with the natural characteristics of coffee to create a beautifully balanced bouquet. The coffee is sweet, juicy, and refreshing, making it a perfect treat for a special occasion. Such lots spark debates within the professional community: how fair is this approach to the product and the consumer? In our opinion, there is a place for these kinds of processing methods. However, strictly speaking, this coffee does not belong to the specialty category, as its taste and aroma are altered using additional components.

Size & roast level: 250g filter roast, 1kg filter roast
